Australian Brass Forgings Pty Ltd (ABF) recognizes its moral and legal responsibility to the Occupational Health & Safety Act 2004, to provide a safe and healthy work environment for employees, contractors, customers and visitors.

The aim of this policy is to ensure that all employees, contractors, customers and visitors to ABF are safe from injuries and risks to health.

Responsibility for creating, maintaining and supporting a safe a healthy workplace resides with all staff, under the control of the Managing Director, who is the Responsible Officer.

The aim of this policy is to ensure that all employees, contractors, customers and visitors to ABF are safe from injuries and risks to health. In particular, this policy aims to:

• Provide safe equipment and systems of work that address the hazards and risks of the company;
• Provide written procedures and instructions to ensure safe systems of work are implemented;
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and current “state of knowledge” standards;
• Ensure continued improvement aimed at the elimination of work-related injury and illness;
• Provide employees, contractors, customers and visitors with regular information, instruction, training, and supervision to ensure their safety;
• Remain relevant and appropriate to ABF through annual review.
